FISH AUTOLYSATE

DESCRIPTIONProduct is exclusively made out of lean whole fish or lean fish by-products and only from low fat flesh of white fishes such as saithe (Pollachius virens), cod (Gadus morhua) or haddock (Melanogrammus aeglefinus). This product is processed through a controlled enzymatic hydrolysis in order to get short polypeptides chains with low molecular weights. This natural process was developed to qualitatively and quantitatively preserve the amino-acids and to improve the digestibility and the solubility of this high proteins content product. The powder obtained is 100 % natural without any carrier and only coming from fresh fish, it contains no lipids and is totally water-soluble.
ORIGENMain fish species : Cod (Gaus morhua), Saithe (Pollachius virens),Haddock (Melanogrammus aeglefinus) , Plaice (Pleuronectes platessa) *Hake (Merluccius merluccius), ling (Molva molva) and whiting (Merlangius merlangus) can also be found depending on supplies, but in small quantities.

For nutraceutical formulations, the product has a very high protein content that provides the product with an excellent nutritional value. It contains more than 90 % hydrolyzed proteins which are bioavailable and well adapted to sport nutrition or weight management formulations. This powder might be declared as a white fishes powder in a rehydrated recipe. Usual dosage is around 1 to 5 % of finished product but may vary according to applications and desired results.
